Govt urged to arrest teachers with forged certificates

Zambia Open University Chairman Professor Dickson Mwansa has called for the arrest of teachers found to have forged their certificates.

Prof. Mwansa has expressed concern that the levels of malpractice in the country are increasing describing the situation as retrogressive to the education system and national development in general.

He has told Q-news that it is prudent upon the relevant authorities to take stern disciplinary measures on fake teachers without delay.

Prof. Mwansa says when teachers began to engage in malpractice it has negative impact in the education system thus the need for relevant authorities to arrest them.
