Senior Medical Superintendent at the Cancer Diseases Hospital Dr. Lewis Banda has encouraged school leavers with good grades to consider pursuing radiography studies to help fight the different forms of cancer.

Dr. Banda tells Q-News that school leavers should consider taking up courses being offered at the Cancer diseases hospital training college which was established in 2012, to improve human capital in the health sector.

He says improved human capital in the health sector is very cardinal, as it helps to deal with the emerging different cases of cancers at very early stages.

Dr Banda says the only way to treat cancer is in its early stages, hence the need for more human resource.

He adds that the Cancer Diseases Hospital Training College is planning on introducing degree courses for efficiency in health service delivery.
