A Turkish tycoon, who attended the Luapula Expo Road show and Gala Night in Samfya District, is returning to Luapula one month after the Luapula Expo and Investment Conference.

Zambia’s Ambassador to Turkey Bwalya Nondo has informed Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa that Cagri Tek, the Chief Executive Officer of Manifakture, a Turkish conglomerate will arrive in Zambia on September 18.

Manifakture owns subsidiary companies specialising in various portfolios including but not limited to: construction, automobile, defence – related goods and services, tourism, manufacturing and agriculture.

During his short stay in Luapula Mr. Tek who described his experience in Samfya as awesome said he was interested in investing in Luapula Province following his brief stay in the region.

And Mr. Chilangwa has assured Mr. Tek of government’s support as he plans to establish his businesses in Luapula Province.

Mr. Chilangwa says the Provincial administration is ready to receive Mr. Tek back to Luapula Province.

He says Mr. Tek and other investors from within and outside Zambia would be given all the support for them to succeed.
