Political environment in first half of 2017 ‘problematic’ – YALI

The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) has described the political environment in the first half of 2017 as ‘problematic’.

YALI Governance Advisor Isaac Mwanza tells QTV News that in the first half of 2017 there was greater political tension in the country like never before.

Mr. Mwanza says Zambia has not done well in the first half of 2017 politically and on the governance front.

Meanwhile, the YALI Governance Advisor has observed that the stabilization of the local currency being the best performing currency in the region is praiseworthy.

He is encouraging the government not to lose the focus but continue working hard in stabilizing the kwacha for the benefit of the country’s economy.
