Japan committed to help Zambia fight climate change

Hidenobu Sobashima – Japanese Ambassador to Zambia

Japanese Ambassador to Zambia Hidenobu Sobashima says his country is committed to enhance the fight against climate change in Zambia.

Mr. Sobashima says it is important that Zambia becomes among other countries in the world fighting the effects of climate change.

Mr. Sobashima states that his country has already extended its corporation to Zambia in the field of agriculture, but wishes to extend further in the promotion of climate change activities .

He adds that with good projects from government , his country is committed in fostering Zambia’s green economy.

He adds that his country further intends to foster government’s initiatives in improving the agriculture sector by the facilitation of irrigation projects.
