PF SG directs party officials to explain party policies

Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Mwila has directed party officials to explain party policies government is implementing to the Zambian people.

Mr. Mwila states that while government is implementing a lot of policies and projects, the public is not aware about them, hence his directive.

Speaking when he welcomed the newly appointed PF women’s chairperson Jean Kapata, Mr. Mwila says it is important for the people of Zambia to know and understand what the Patriotic Front is doing to improve their livelihoods.

Mr. Mwila says the PF government is fulfilling all the promises it made to the Zambian people prior to the 2016 elections that need to be explained.

And Mr. Mwila has advised Ms. Kapata to work hard saying the Patriotic Front has no time to waste.

Meanwhile Mr. Mwila has advised all Committee Members in the habit of issuing statements to air their grievances to wait for the Central Committee meeting which is scheduled to take place this Saturday.

And speaking at the same event, PF Women’s Chairperson Jean Kapata has demanded for 50 percent women representation in decision making.

Ms. Kapata says she will soon start indentifying women candidates who can be adopted for the 2021 general election.

And provincial chairlady Margaret Mumba has called on the newly appointed Patriotic Front Women Chairperson to prioritize women in the party.
