Chanda cautions Financial Analysts

Patriotic Front (PF) Media Director Sunday Chanda has advised members of the public and financial analysts to stop making what he has termed as alarming statements that the invocation of article 31 will destabilize the economy.

Mr. Chanda tells QTV news that such sentiments are only meant to create false alarm among Zambians.

He says after invoking article 31, President Edgar Lungu invited the financial sector to State house; a move aimed at reassuring financial sector players.

Mr Chanda says the President’s decision to invoke article 31 is meant to protect life as well as private and public property.

Mr. Chanda wonders why some financial analysts have resorted to creating false alarm by claiming that the country’s investment potential is under jeopardy.
