Bishop Mambo commends President Lungu

Chikondi Foundation President Bishop John Mambo has praised President Edgar Lungu for allowing Catholic Bishops to visit UPND President Hakainde Hichilema in prison, with a view to initiate dialogue.

Bishop Mambo has called on all well-meaning Zambians to support the efforts being made to unity the country, stating that this will help promote peace and tranquility in the country

He says it is important that the Catholic Bishops ensure there are no conditions attached to dialogue once they meet the incarcerated opposition leader.

Bishop Mambo has since urged the Catholic Bishops to meet Mr. Hichilema as soon as possible so that all political parties can meet and dialogue to resolve perceived differences among them.
