The Movement for National Transformation (MNT) says Zambia needs transformative leadership that will bail the people of Zambia out of poverty.
MNT President Daniel Shimunza says there is need to transform Zambia from the third world country into a first world country saying this is possible if leaders develop transformative and implementable ideas.
He says this is what his country has been advocating for and that this is enshrined in the party constitution saying the dream of the party is to transform the nation.
Mr. Shimunza says Zambia should graduate and embrace ideas of political parties in order to develop the nation.
He adds that it is unfortunate that 53 years after independence the country has remained a developing country saying by now it must have been a developed country because of the abundant natural resources.
