NUPPEZ observes need to roll out early childhood education

The National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia (NUPPEZ) has observed the need for the government and other key stakeholders to roll out the early childhood education to rural areas.

NUPPEZ Executive President Victor Muyumba says it is clear that children in rural areas do not have access to early education which is the foundation for the good education of learners.

Mr. Muyumba says in order for Zambia to achieve various goals on education, it is important that this aspect of education is enhanced and promoted.

He however, states that what is encouraging is the fact that the government has come on board and is doing all it can to promote early childhood education in the country.
