Lusaka lawyer, Kelvin Bwalya has demanded for accountability and responsibility in the appointment of the country’s security wings.

Mr. Bwalya wonders why the country’s intelligence has not been able to detect information leading to sabotage cases the country has experienced in the recent past.

He says the country’s security wings should justify their existence.

Mr. Fube has also questioned whether the police service is compromised or incompetent, owing to the fact that the saboteurs have been crafting and executing their unlawful acts, while the service has been fully operational.

He has therefore urged people to closely assess and scrutinize the appointments of people in the country’s security wings.

And Mr. Bwalya has pledged K50, 000 towards helping traders who lost their merchandise in the inferno that gutted part of city market.

Mr. Bwalya has called on all stakeholders to create a victims benefit account for the traders, where Zambians from all walks of life may pledge money to help the victims of the fire.
