Justice Minister Given Lubinda says government will not rush the process of amending the constitution.

Mr Lubinda says this is considering the sensitive nature of the process and the need for wide consultations.

The Justice Minister has told QTV news that a lot of people have been inquiring on the progress on the constitution amendment, but that the whole process requires a well researched position.

Mr. Lubinda says his ministry does not want to rush the process considering that it ought to be accepted by the people of Zambia.
