National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili has condemned the fracas involving United Party for National Development (UPND) and Patriotic Front (PF) cadres Leopards Hill Memorial Park on Saturday.
Reverend Sumaili has told QTV news that what happened on Saturday is unfortunate and should be condemned by all well meaning Zambians.
She says there is need for tolerance among political player.
Reverend Sumaili has pointed out that Zambia is a Christian nation, therefore Zambians; regardless of their political affiliation should embrace oneness.
Reverend Sumaili has since urged the church to play their reconciliatory role, by preaching and fostering peace among Zambians.
