Analogue Television Broadcasting to end by October 2017- Malama

Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary Godfrey Malama says Zambia will do away with analogue television broadcasting by October 2017.

He says government is doing everything possible to ensure that the entire country migrates to digital television broadcasting

Mr Malama has told QTV news in an interview that the second phase of the digital migration will initially target provincial headquarters.

Mr Malama adds that the other major component of Phase two of the digital migration is the establishment of television Studios in all provincial headquarters.
