PAC President Andyford Banda
Peoples Alliance for Change (PAC) President Andyford Banda maintains that President Edgar Lungu is the key to ending political violence in the country.
Mr. Banda says the Head of State must show direction by stopping his cadres engaging in political violence.
Speaking in an interview with QTV News, Mr. Banda says the nation has seen enough of these violent acts and that it’s high time the President took a decisive stance on such cases.
He says the people of Zambia do not deserve this kind of treatment from political parties.
Mr. Banda has since called on both the PF and UPND to sober up and avoid any form of violence as this also affects the people of Zambia.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Lawyer has called on Zambians not to tolerate political parties not respecting Human Rights in Zambia.
Mr. Mapani says culprits of political violence should be arrested without fear or favor.
He says what happened at the Memorial Park should not be repeated as this is a threat to the promotion of human rights in Zambia.
