National Restoration Party Spokesperson Bwalya Nondo has charged that the 7th national development plan which was launched recently by President Edgar Lungu will end up being a white elephant if measures to fully implement it are not established.
Mr. Nondo told Qfm news that the country has seen many other national development plans which include, the 5th and 6th national development plans which were launched by the government turn into white elephants.
Mr. Nondo has further charged that government is only bent on undertaking activities that will only benefit them at the expense of the citizens.
He has further charged that the increasing levels of corruption in the country is a major contributing factor that hinders the successful implementation of national development plans in the country.
He has since urged government to put up measures that will ensure that the newly launched 7th national development plan is implemented within the quickest and shortest possible time so as to benefit the citizens.
