ZUFIAW calls for sacking of NATSAVE management

The Zambia Union of Financial Institutions and Allied Workers (ZUFIAW) has called on Government to immediately restructure management at the National Savings and Credit Bank (NATSAVE) for alleged blatant failure to properly manage the institution.

ZUFIAW General Secretary Chingati Msiska has requested the Minister of Finance to restructure and fire the entire NATSAVE management which he says has clearly failed the workers and other stakeholders.Chingati FFTUZ

Mr. Msiska is urging government to take keen interest in what he has called the failed management and management wrangles at the institution.

He has also called for the immediate resignation of the bank’s Legal Counsel as well as the Head of Human Resource for misguiding the institution.

Meanwhile Mr. Msiska has regretted that despite his union and management having concluded negotiations for the 2017 Collective Agreement, management has refused to sign the document claiming they need to get approval from the permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.

Mr. Chingati has advised management at NATSAVE to sign the document in order to avoid industrial unrest.
