Recommendations on foreign expatriates in the mining sector coming- Ng’andwe

Zambia Chamber of Mines acting Chief Executive Officer Talent Ng’andwe says they have made headways in coming up with recommendations with regards the issue of foreign expatriates in the mining sector.

Mr. Ng’andwe says the chamber of mines has been working with government and have since come up with a framework on how the issue of foreign expatriates in the mining sector can be addressed and harnessed.

He has explained that there are a number of projects in the mines that still require highly skilled labour which is not available locally.

Mr Ng’andwe says the way forward on the issue of expatriates in the mining sector will be made known to the public in due course.
