Redeemed Methodist Church disown statement by three CMBs

Redeemed Methodist Church Bishop Reverend Dr. Paul Bupe has observed the need for all church mother bodies in the country to call for an indaba to strategize how the church can speak with one voice for the people.

The Church has come under scrutiny following contradictory statements issued by various church leaders on the state of the nation.

But Dr. Bupe has told QTV News in an interview that it is always important that at a time such as this, the church must find a forum to come together and see how they make things right.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bupe is shocked and surprised that the body to which the Methodist Church in Zambia is affiliated to, the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ), was part of the controversial statement issued by the three church mother bodies.

He claims that the Methodist Church in Zambia was not consulted on the matters raised in the statement.
