Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) President Enock Tembo has advised the Patriotic Front to be wary of the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB).

Mr. Tembo says if the PF have an ounce of political strategy among them, they ought to know that they cannot expect to antagonize the Roman Catholic Church and still hope to maintain the support of the Bemba speaking people.

Mr. Tembo notes that without the support of the Bemba speaking people, PF is finished.

He says if reports that the church mother Bodies did try to secure an appointment with President Lungu and he declined them, are true, then it would be fair to say that the PF in general and President Lungu in particular lack an adequate understanding of the geo-politics of this country and they have just earned themselves a ticket to a downward slippery slope from which they may never recover.

The PeP Leader has also observed that the UPND leadership appears to lack political basic political strategy and shrewdness necessary to thrive in a cut-throat political set up such as Zambia’s.

He says the mistake that the UPND has made is to think that if its leaders misbehave and sanctions are taken against them, they can cry dictatorship and the international community will intervene.

He says he does not think President Lungu is a dictator.

Mr. Tembo says the UPND also has poor diplomatic skills.

Meanwhile, the PeP Leader says he has reported the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) to the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) for alleged corruption.
