Black Princesses
Ghana’s Black Princesses have been drawn to face Algeria in the qualifiers to the 2018 Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup.
Nineteen African countries will vie for the two available slots to represent the continent at next year’s World Cup to be hosted by France.
Six countries have been drawn in the preliminary round of the four-stage qualifying tournament for Africa.
Burundi have been paired with Djibouti while Libya take on Sierra Leone.
Botswana will also lock horns with Kenya between July and August to determine the three teams who will join 13 others for the first round.
Ghana will begin their quest for a ticket from this round and on the road against the Algerians for the first leg tie on the weekend on September 15-17. The reverse is scheduled for either September 29, 30 or October 1, 2017.
The second round of the qualifying process has been scheduled for November while Caf will know its representatives in the third and final round of the tournament by the end of day January 28, 2018.
The 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, to be hosted by France, has been scheduled for August 7-26, 2018 with four host cities.
