Finnish Ambassador to Zambia Timo Olkkonen
Finnish Ambassador to Zambia Timo Olkkonen has expressed concern over delays in implementing and completing projects funded by his government.
Mr. Olkkonen says such delays could impede development.
He has told Q-news that a number of projects funded by the Finnish government have not been very successful owing to delays in their implementation.
And Mr. Olkkonen says while Zambia is still a priority partner for development cooperation with Finland, his country wants to concentrate on a wider range of cooperation which is based on investment and trade.
Mr. Olkkonen states that Finland is exploring ways of helping to address bottlenecks in entrepreneurship in the country.
