PAZ happy with increased poultry production
The Poultry Association of Zambia-PAZ says there has been increase in poultry production in view of the stability in electricity supply.
PAZ Executive Director Dominic Chanda has told QTV news that load shedding had negatively affected the sector, as many stock feed firms resorted to using other energy sources which were quite expensive.
Mr Chanda says the stability in power supply has triggered the reduction in stock feed prices, thereby increasing poultry production.
Mr. Chanda has also attributed the increase in poultry production to the favorable performance of the Kwacha against other convertible currencies.
