Kabwe Central Member of Parliament Tutwa Ngulube has welcomed the revocation of the land agency of the Kabwe Municipal Council by the Ministry of Lands.
Mr. Ngulube says the revocation could not have come at a better time than now.
He says the revocation is an indication that government has lost confidence in the local authority to administer land.
Mr. Ngulube says he has been very vocal on the issue of land illegalities by the Kabwe municipal council and has now been vindicated.
He says the revocation must be taken as a lesson by those who are involved in illegal land allocations that one day the law will catch up with them.
The ministry of lands last week withdrew the land agency of Kabwe municipal council for failing to adhere to guidelines and procedures of land administration.
