The opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) says the PF Government cannot be trusted again that they will respect the submissions of the people with regards to constitution amendment after doctoring it in parliament.
FDD Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza tells QTV News that with the call by Justice Minister that stakeholders must submit the articles they want amended in the constitution, there is no guarantee that they will this time around respect the wishes of the people.
Mr. Mwanza says the PF Government flouted the constitutional making process by removing some of the submissions of Zambians and adding articles that they saw will work to their advantage.
He says for as long as the government through parliament flouted the whole process, there is no hope that even the submissions that the people are currently making will not be tampered with.
Mr. Mwanza says politicians must learn to respect the wishes of the people to avoid doing the same things year in year out.
