Justice Minister Given Lubinda says he will submit the report on whether Zambia should remain or pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the coming sitting of parliament, which resumes sitting next week.

K2 million was allocated and spent on the public consultation process in 30 districts, on Zambia’s fate at the ICC.

And Mr. Lubinda has told QNEWS that the process has been concluded, as his ministry has finished compiling the cabinet memorandum.

He states that after instructions from cabinet, he will present the matter to parliament next week.

He says he is not compelled to make a public announcement on the matter, because it all BEGINS in parliament, where the report will be tabled.
