Members of Parliament have been advised to ensure that they avoid boycotting Parliament sessions when parliament resumes sitting this month.

Opposition Zambia for Empowerment and Development (ZED) Spokesperson Wesley Miyanda has advised MPs to ensure that they are present especially that the justice Minister has started identifying clauses that needs to be amended.

Mr. Miyanda says it is important that Members of Parliament should take this opportunity so that they do not blame anyone when some of the clauses are removed in the constitution.

He is specifically urging UPND Members of Parliament not to allow what is happening to their leader affect their participation during this session.

Mr. Miyanda has appealed to them to respect the people who took them to parliament stating that they will be accountable once some of the bills are passed in parliament when they boycott the sessions.
