United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ) President Charles Chanda has challenged President Edgar Lungu and the PF to abandon the 2021 debate and concentrate on addressing the challenges the people are facing.

Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka this afternoon, Mr. Chanda says it is irresponsible on the part of the PF to shift their attention on who stands on the PF ticket in 2021 when the nation is going through many trials.

Mr. Chanda says the President is less than a year in office after being given a five year mandate by the people and yet they are busy talking about the 2021 polls.

He says there are so many things in the country that needs attention and that the PF should abandon this debate and deliver on the many promises they made during last year’s polls.

The UPPZ President has furthermore told journalists that this also shows that the party in power is not sure of winning the 2021 polls as they seem to be unsettled in office.

Mr. Chanda says before the PF has delivered their promises, they are busy talking about the next elections instead of working hard so that the people can return them in office in 2021.

He charges that the PF is lacking vision and focus.
