The President is justified, it was uncalled -for – PF

The ruling Patriotic Front says President Edgar Lungu is justified to ask diplomats to desist from interfering with the governance of the country.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya says this is whether their countries have been supporting Zambia through financial support or not.

Mr. Bwalya says the ruling PF holds the view that allowing diplomats to meddle in the country’s affairs would amount colonialism.

In an interview with QTV News, Mr. Bwalya says this is why there cannot be anything unusual for any President in the world to deny aid of any kind that attaches conditions of political interference.

Mr. Bwalya says his party has never heard of any President in the world who has ever accepted his or her country to be controlled by foreign diplomats.

He says as far as the ruling PF is concerned, it is therefore uncalled-for for anyone to criticize President Lungu over his recent advise to diplomats accredited to Zambia.
