Kapoma advises UPND to forget Kanyama Rally

The UPND leadership has been advised against going ahead with their planned Kanyama rally on Sunday to avoid confrontations and possible loss of life.

Governance Activist David Kapoma is advising the opposition party to cancel their planned rally and reschedule it to another date.

Mr Kapoma says the Police will definitely not allow the UPND to go ahead with their planned rally.

He says in the end it will be the supporters and the people who may wish to hear from the UPND leadership that will be arrested or get injured in the event of clashes with the police.

Mr. Kapoma has since appealed to the UPND leadership to allow the situation in Lusaka to normalize before they can hold their rally.
