Two Multi-million dollar Shopping Malls are set to be constructed in Kabwe town with one of the malls taking shape already.
Central Province Minister Sydney Mushanga says government is constructing two shopping malls in Kabwe and will simplify shopping.
Mr. Mushanga says one shopping mall is opposite Kabwe Chapel and the other one will be next to Zambia – China Mulungushi Textiles in Lukanga area.
He says the long awaited shopping malls in Kabwe will create more jobs for the people in the district upon completion.
Mr. Mushanga says these facilities will boost infrastructure development and add value to the national economy.
He has since appealed to Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) to also consider Kabwe when investors come in the country to redirect them to central province as it is close to the capital city.
