Zambia Society for Public Administration has opposed the proposed bill by Patriotic Front Kasama Central Member of Parliament Kelvin Sampa to the repeal of the Law Association of Zambia Act.
Society President Kelvin Esiasa notes that if the proposed Law Societies Bill is passed, it will allow for the formation of various associations to represent lawyers in Zambia.
Mr. Esiasa says this does not mean well for the people of Zambia especially the lawyers as it is meant to dissolve the Law Association of Zambia.
He has since urged Lawyers in the country to team up and reject the bill which he says will destroy the Law profession once passed.
