MPs implored to conduct themselves in a suitable manner

Zambia Direct Democracy Movement (ZDDM) Vice President Charles Kafumbo has implored Members of Parliament to conduct themselves in an acceptable manner.

Mr Kafumbo says the conduct of some Members of Parliament in the house leaves much to be desired.

He says Members of Parliament have failed to debate real issues concentrating instead on attacking each other.

Mr Kafumbo says Members of Parliament should focus on addressing the issues affecting the people they represent.

Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Matibini yesterday expressed concern over the continued use of abusive language and threats of physical violence by some Member of Parliament.
