ZATU asks govt to make available materials to teachers

Zambia Teachers Union (ZATU) has observed the need for government to make available teaching materials to teachers across the country.

ZATU Spokesperson Kangwa Musenga says following the change of the curriculum by the government, some teachers still do not have teaching materials.

Mr. Musenga says this is making it difficult for some teachers to teach the learners.

And Mr Musenga says the issue of accommodation especially in rural areas remains one of the challenges teachers are facing.

He has implored government to be proactive in addressing the challenges teachers are facing considering the important role they play.
