The Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) is pleased with government’s move to start removing all farmers who have benefitted from the Farmers Input Support Programme (FISP) for more than three years.

CSPR Executive Director Patrick Nshindano says government must always ensure that there is effectiveness in the management of agricultural programs.

Mr. Nshindano says his organization is pleased that the government has heed to many calls to remove all those farmers who have been on the program for a longer time.

He says this will accord an opportunity for other farmers to also benefit from the program.
