ZCSD wants 7th NDP to promote youth development

The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) says the 7^th National Development Plan must come out as a practical document to promote youth development and end youth unemployment in the country.

ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape says youth development will also remain a pipe dream if funding to tertiary education is not improved.

Mr. Mwape says there is also need to ensure that young people living with disabilities have special attention from government in both skills development and improving special education.

He has further urged youths in the country to demand that government fulfills what it promised as they commemorate youth day which falls on Sunday, 12^th March.

Mr. Mwape says these include promises of jobs and empowerment among others.
