Longwe calls on Lungu to look into ATI Bill

Non Governmental Organizations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) Chairperson Sara Longwe has called on President Edgar Lungu to address the issue of the Access to Information Bill during his address to Parliament later this month.

Ms. Longwe says her organisation expects President Lungu to ensure that the Access to Information Bill becomes Law.

She has notes that the enactment of the bill has been pending for a long time now with nothing being done.

Ms. Longwe says the enactment of this bill will enable Zambians to hold government and duty bearers accountable on governance issues.
