Zambia has not yet reached – Changala

Civil Rights Activist Brebner Changala has observed that Zambia has still not reached a stage where all citizens are treated fairly and equally before the law.

Mr. Changala has pointed out that there is selective application of taxation laws in the country.

he has wondered why it has also become common in Zambia to hear a citizen being prosecuted for having tax arrears than to hear a foreigner being prosecuted for a similar crime.

Mr. Changala adds that it is also puzzling that there are many Zambians being prosecuted for corruption when such crimes are also allegedly being perpetrated by foreigners.
