The National Union of Small Scale Farmers in Zambia (NUFAZ) has proposed that the government should be undertaking an annual review of the performance of the agricultural programs.

The union believes that this will enable the government to view some of the successes and failures recorded in the previous farming season.

Union Director General Dr. Frank Kayula tells QTV News that it is for this reason that the union is pleased with President Lungu’s recent pronouncements that he will be appointing a team of experts to look at the challenges that came with the implementation of the rolled out e-voucher system.

He says this should be an annual undertaking so as to review the progress recorded in the implementation of such progressive projects.
