Civil Society for Poverty Reduction (CSPR) Executive Director Patrick Nshindano is happy to note that presentations from the ministry of finance point to the fact that country is on the path of economic recovery.
Mr Nshindano says there is need for government to maintain fiscal discipline if the country’s economy is to be resuscitated.
He has also called on President Edgar Lungu to address the issue of government expenditure and borrowing during his address to Parliament next month.
Mr Nshindano says there is need for a high sense of fiscal discipline as the country implements the economic recovery programme.
He adds that President Lungu needs to ensure that he is on top of things if the economy is to be resuscitated.
