FAZ President Andrew Kamanga dined with the Zambia Under-20 national team

FAZ President Andrew Kamanga dined with the Zambia Under-20 national team as they prepare for battle with Guinea in the Total Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations opener on Sunday.

Kamanga surprised the lads with a visit at their base at InterContinental Hotel and encouraged them in an informal interaction over dinner.

The FAZ Chief planted himself in the middle of the table and let the lads freely pour out their highs and lows in the private lives.

One KamangaIn a light hearted atmosphere there was a little chat about possible bad yet common habits in the world of footballers.
There was ‘presidential’ talk about, “nindani akumwa moba (who among you drinks beer)”? Naturally there were no volunteers but of course the naughty ones threw names around.

Kamanga also zoned in on lady acquaintances issues with Zanaco midfielder Boyd Musonda getting the accolade for “being handsome”.

Of course there was that usual talk about haircuts with Crispin Sakulanda stealing the show.

With the dinner done and focus back to business Kamanga urged the boys to do their best and represent the country well.

He said that having won the Cosafa the team should now focus on the Africa Cup and then world cup in South Korea.
Zambia plays Guinea on Sunday in the opening match of the Under-20 Africa Cup.

Tickets for the match have been sold 24 hours before the match with Republican President Edgar Lungu expected to lead thousands of fans at Heroes Stadium.
