Chikondi Foundation president Bishop John Mambo has reminded President Edgar Lungu of the need to stick to his 2016 campaign promises by upholding the rule of law and respect for human rights.
Bishop Mambo says being a Lawyer, President Lungu is in a better position to champion the respect for human rights.
He says Police were wrong to go to Post newspapers limited in liquidation Proprietor Fred M’membe’s house and harass his wife when they were fully aware that Mr. M’membe was not around.
He says the action of the Police against Mrs M’membe amounts to torture and will leave a mark on the family.
