E-voucher inefficiency was biggest challenge – Kabanda

Serenje Member of Parliament Maxwell Kabanda says the inefficiency of the e-voucher system is the biggest challenge farmers in his constituency have faced this farming season.

Mr. Kabanda notes that due to the delay in activating the e-voucher cards has resulted in farmers accessing farming inputs late.

He has told QTV News that farmers have however understood that it was the first time the e-voucher was being used in the area and therefore was mostly likely to have such challenges.

Mr. Kabanda says their hope is that government has learnt lessons from this and will improve upon the system in the next farming season.
