Siavonga Youths storm DC’s office, demands for jobs

About fifty youths in Siavonga District today stormed the office of the District Commissioner demanding for jobs from government.

Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama who confirmed the development to QFM News says he suspects the youths are UPND members.

Mr. Kanyama says this is because the youths were later joined by Siavonga UPND Member of Parliament Darius Mulunda who also demanded that the youths be given jobs.

He says what is disappointing is the fact that the Siavonga MP is aware how government operates and therefore it is unfair for him to organize youths to demand for jobs in such a manner.

Mr Kanyama adds that the youths in question accused him of giving jobs to PF youths, the reason why they also saw it fit to storm his office to demand to be employed by the government.
