ZDA Director General Patrick Chisanga
The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has hailed the investment government has so far made in the Nansanga farming block project.
ZDA Director General Patrick Chisanga says the agency is particularly pleased with the investment that has gone to the backbone infrastructure of the project.
Mr. Chisanga tells QTV News that there are now passable roads in the farming block.
He adds that ZESCO has also connected the farming block to the national power grid, while a number of water dams have also been constructed.
Mr. Chisanga says it is for this reason the ZDA had received very good responses from the international tender it floated 18 months ago for investors to invest in the farming block.
He states that the ZDA is optimistic that the farming block will serve as one of Zambia’s major centers for Agricultural development and job creation.
