PF has demonstrated strength – Ng’oma

Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma has encouraged political parties in the country to strengthen their internal conflict resolution mechanisms in order to remain stable.

Dr. Ng’oma says the ruling PF has rightly demonstrated that it has a strong internal conflict resolution mechanism in the manner it has handled the case involving Luanshya Mayor Nathan Chanda and Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili.

Dr. Ng’oma has told QTV News via telephone that this aspect is important for political party stability, stating that when a party is lacking this mechanism, it cannot stand when conflicts arise within the party.

He says there is need for political parties to have conflict resolution mechanisms that are independent and free from manipulation.

Dr Ng’oma states that this will help resolve matters amicably.

He says for political parties to survive during conflicts, there is also need for their disciplinary committees to be above bold and resolve matters without favoring anyone.
