ZDDM urges more effort in diversifying economy

The Zambia Direct Democratic Movement (ZDDM) says there is need for government to put more efforts in diversifying the Zambian economy.

ZDDM Vice President Charles Kafumbo says diversification should be more than a pronouncement but should come with actions.

Mr. Kafumbo says diversification into the agriculture sector will help move the country forward as the agriculture sector has a lot of potential to bring the country foreign exchange.

He explains that diversification into the agriculture sector will also help in terms of the country’s food security .

Mr. Kafumbo further states that agriculture is everything and he country can never go wrong if it gives more attention to the agriculture sector.
