The Timber Producers Association of Zambia (TPAZ) says it is working with other stakeholders in the wood sector to come up with an indaba to look at how best the issues in the industry can be addressed.

TPAZ President Charles Masange says there many contradicting issues in the sector and inconsistency in policies which require all stakeholders to come together to discuss them.
Mr. Masange says they are hoping to hold the indaba within the next few months citing that they want to come up with resolutions on how they can run the wood sector in order for them to keep their customers.
He points out that what is happening now where people who are not experts in the sector are advising government which in turn is affecting their source of income.
Mr. Masange says there is need to bring order in the sector for the benefit of not only the players in the industry but the nation as a whole.
