Electoral expert Macdonald Chipenzi has charged that the current sitting of Parliament which is coming to a close this week is one of the dullest.

Mr. Chipenzi says this is given the number of new Members of Parliament elected during the August 11 general election.

In an interview with QTV News, Mr. Chipenzi says the Members of Parliament with less parliamentary experience have made the current sitting of Parliament less exciting.

Mr. Chipenzi states that the impact of the Grade 12 Certificate constitutional requirement cannot be seen in the kind of the debates coming out of Parliament.

He says this means that the quality of debates in the House will not necessary depend on academic qualifications, but on how the new Members of Parliament will be exposed to speak in public.
