President Edgar Lungu has accorded late Former Cabinet Minister Ben Kapita an official funeral.
Mr. Kapita died yesterday at St. Dominic’s Mission Hospital in Bwana Mukubwa Ndola Rural.
The funeral gathering is being held at Farm Number 7, Bwana Mukubwa off Ndola – Kabwe Highway.
The late Mr. Kapita was Minister of Agriculture in the President Levy Mwanawasa Administration.
And Secretary to cabinet Dr. Rowland Msiska tells QTV News that Members of the public are advised that all flags will on Monday December 19th, 2016 fly at half-mast and programmes of an entertainment nature on both radio and television should be cancelled or postponed.
Dr. Msiska says this is in view of the declaration of a day of national mourning in honor of the late Mr. Kapita who will be buried on the same day.
